Present to Self
I've had my eye on the Eames LCW for several years now. This may come as a lemming move since a couple of my friends also own this chair and it's totally drool-worthy, but the desire to own a piece of design history hasn't waned a bit. Now that I have the means to buy this chair, what's the hesitation?
Pros:
It looks good
High resale value (probably appreciates in value if kept in good condition)
Lots of online sellers having sales in time for the holidays
Price will go up 5% in 2007
Cons:
Might not be comfortable
$$$
Takes up space
$$$
